 dstar modem recommendations
my gateway was working great but for some reason its not having any atjust swapped the kenwood tmv7 which went awol to a yaesu ft-8100 and i cant get it to decode via the 9k6 port via the dvrptr v1 board?
it looks like an audio alignment issue but no matter what adjustments i make in the g4klx software it wont decode?
so whats the best modem to get to replace the dvrptr that wil work with the ft-8100?
any recommendation appreciated please
ricky

 Re: dstar modem recommendations
Ricky, don't throw the Kenwood away for it makes for a great half of a DStar repeater.
I had a faulty Kenwood TMV7 and a faulty Yaesu. I put them together with a DVRPTR and they make an excellent DStar repeater. A fraction of the cost of an Icom line up and with the benefit of ircddb, twice the fun. -Graham
