An elderly farmer was in A&E having a few stitches in a hand wound due to an accident with some machinery.
The Doctor who was performing the procedure struck up a conversation with the old man and the conversation got around to the subject of politicians.

"Well", said the old man..."you know that most politicians are Post Tortoises".!

Not being familiar with the term the Doctor asked him what he meant.

The old guy said..."If you are driving down the road and you come across a fence post with a tortoise balanced on top".?..well, that's a post tortoise".!

Seeing the Doctor's puzzled look he went on to explain....

"You know it doesn't belong up there....and you know it didn't get there by itself...it's been elevated beyond its ability to function..and you wonder just what kind of dumbass put him up there to begin with".
