anyone have any experience of the NN4ZZ tilting plates or similar?

Seem to be a great job for working at ground level......

We've got one for our contest setup.

Great with just a Spiderbeam or similar on top, however we added a 10m monobander above the Hexbeam and it came unlocked in a high wind and folded over whilst the tower was up, trashing the Spiderbeam. We've since done a mod to stop it doing it again.

I have a homebrew version as well with my optibeam, but didnt use pillow block bearings as per MM0WAX. It makes a big difference to my life, that's for sure!
