Post Connecting to Hotspot
On my previous IC-2820 if I wished to connect to a local Hotspot I filled in
UR CQCQCQ
RPT1 MBXXXX B
RPT2 MBXXXX G
MY Own Callsign

On the new ID-5100 I don't see the facility to do this. When I go to the frequency and press DR what comes up is From and To and no place to put in the information as before.

Any one done this and can advise?

Thanks
Graham

Surely you can do all that with the software supplied by Icom, I managed it all for my IC-7100 which has a similar screen but I set it up with the software on the PC not on the screen...

Has the hot spot got a ccs no?

If so just either type in the number via dtmf or in the UR just put in CCS1234 replacing the 1234 with the relevant number
