Hi all I am looking for some information on a HF5r 10-80 mtr antenna I got this from a car boot last year it was boxed but I think there is some parts missing I have photos of it if any one can help it. Would be much appreciated

Barry,

Are you sure about the "r" in the part number? I see lots of references to the Hokushin HF5, but nothing with an "r" designation.

I used to have a Hokushin HF5. Many moons ago. I cant recall the dimensions, but not massive. Maybe 10 feet/12feet of pole, with 2 base loaded whips (looked like 20m mobile whips) in a V shape coming from the top. I binned mine, it was rubbish. I hope its not one of them! :)
