Just spent an enjyoyable day down at Bass Point on the Lizard putting up aerials for GB4MBP for tomorrows IMD bash.We will be QRV on 6...... band conditions permitting.

Is 6M the highest frequency you will be on?
If I get the chance, later in the year, I'm hoping to activate the square on 23cm and 4M.
I believe there is a caravan site at a road junction just before Lizard.

It's a 60 mile round trip for our team of four,so getting a lot of equipment down there for a 1 day event
is quite a task !the answer is yes 6m is as high as we are going.The last leg down to Bass Point is just over a half mile rough farm lane.
There are several campsites in the area,there is a big one with all amenities at the Mullion turning off the Lizard road.There are a few other sites that call themselves"wild" (matches the coastline)
