Post Christmas trivia
Just for fun - try unravelling these anagrams of antenna types:

1. I gay
2. Deep lovelies
3. Grave bee
4. A urinary cart
5. Headliner to zip
6. On air cell
7. A loud kebab zoo
8. Rich mob
9. A cocky radar
10. Acid qua club

So as not to spoil the enjoyment for others, don't post the answers straight-way - just tell us how many you got; we'll trust you to be honest ;)

Paul,

You're correct - well spotted! I dropped a letter in copying from my notes. I'll correct it on the first posting.

Not got 5,7 or 9 at the moment but then I have only been trying for the past 12 minutes  :eye:

Thank you for the festive antenna puzzle Steve and for taking the time through the year to impart some free tuition as well as impartial advice regarding why our latest version of an ongoing antenna still doesn't work.......in my case number 2.

Cheers Steve and all,Dave.

Stuck on 6 & 9, although not sure if I've got the others right :)

It's just like the Countdown Conundrum, but without the lovely Rachel

Cheers to you Steve & everyone on HRD

That reminded me that back in the 1980s I took my son to a computer show at Alexandra Palace; I was 40+ something at the time.
Carol Vorderman was promoting one of the products and was handing out signed photographs of herself. Knowing how much my elderly aunt loved Countdown I joined the queue to get her a signed photograph of Carol.

When I reached Carol, I quickly pointed out I wanted the photo for my elderly aunt, not for myself. Carol put her arm gently round my shoulder and in a very condescending voice said:"Don't worry, all the middle-aged men say that!"

I felt so small I could have dangled my legs over the side of a sixpence :)

You should have just said it was for you Steve and got it over with

Still, I don't think there's many that would mind a hug from Carol

Currently kicking myself, I can't believe I was stuck on number six, it's so obvious now, and it came to me when I wasn't thinking about it, or so I thought
