I purchased this small 45W amp as the seller said it connected directly to the Xiegu G1M. Even before it arrived, I found it didn't!!! It is definately not "Plug & Play". Supposedly the ACC 3.5mm socket could be used (ignoring the tip) to "tell" the amp when it transmitting. This has been tried and doesn't work by others who are more clued up than me!
Then the seller informed me that the factory were working on this problem and going to extend the circuit board inside to see the "RF" and start working...but not yet, and he sent me the amp still!!!
Can I just use a foot switch to connect the two wires when I'm about to transmit? I believe they just need to make the connection, red to black to turn the amp on.
Anyone know anything about this???

Yes that will work. Its a great amp.

I know its a late response, but i have been working with XieGu for 5 years now and have direct communication with their engineers and the owner of the company .. So if anybody wants to know anything XieGu let me know and i will gladly pass accommodate you.. If you check out my youtube channel i have many videos using all the equipment they sell..
