Post Cobwebb offerings ?
Hi i have a original cobwebb antenna it needed some tlc I decided to replace the termination box and replace the twin wire.I used a 4:1 balun box unit and used 1.5mm single copper wire for the dipole legs. The thing is a fickle thing to tune I've noticed the spreaders are wearing they must be 15 years old now looking at the cobwebs for sale on eBay has anyone had any experience of buying/erecting one I've noticed a twin wire build on there listed also a single wire with a similar balun unit which I have. The cobwebb works great from my location and space I have so I'm keen to get another.

Sandpiper antennas sell the fibreglass poles and tubing you need to refurbish the one you've got. Cheaper than buying a new one.

Quite... 4:1 would make a single wire version tricky to tune ;)
