23cm SWR Meter
Trying to dip my toe in to 23cm operating. Can anyone recommend a good commercial SWR meter for the band, that isn't too expensive. I'm also on the look-out for a Bird Thruline slug that covers the band.

Re: 23cm SWR Meter
Avair did a half reasonable one from their quoted specs. I am sure it was the AV1000, covered 1.8 to 160 MHz, and 430 to 1300 MHz from memory. Not sure if still a current model, but I have seen quite a few used ones pop up for sale on various platforms. Nice big meter, clear easily readable scale etc., and looks reasonably made, but I have never owned one, so can't vouch for accuracy etc. Had a quick trawl and: Nevada, and I am sure others, still advertise them new at £89, so I guess still current, at least while stocks last etc.

Re: 23cm SWR Meter
I've looked at the Daiwa, but it's max. 20W. That's OK at the moment, but once I get an amp. then I wouldn't be able to keep it in-line. I've learned from experience to always have an SWR meter in-line.

Re: 23cm SWR Meter
Perhaps you could pick up an old 934MHz SWR/power meter? I have a couple of those also, but again limited to low power.
Looks like the Avair 1000 or other badged version of the same, as there's not much else out there.
