When you are making good progress and all of the pains of pulling your hair out for days looking for bugs in your design seem like they are worth it :)

Thanks Dave you and me both - I might even have to find a matching case and build your speaker in to It, would give the Yaesu three piece suite a run for its money :)

Starting to look like a transceiver - from concept to construction, a labour of love.
The AF control knob is just for illustration, I will be using 20mm dia knobs for the final assembly, still lots to do, populate the front panel, built the chassis floors to hold the PCB's and finish tran TX strip.

If you looked through these windows you'd likely take pity and leave me something.

Aye well you might get a bottle of beer instead of a bottle of milk on your door step :D
Bit of a circuit to do, Newcastle to Dublin then drive to Cork and back up to Donegal and finally Belfast airport, rather looking forward to the drive.

Woodwork was mine in my last build, but keep on at it... if you make mistake... learn from it.. just go back at it.

It's looking good though.

I have room Gerry, drop me a message with your number and will give you a bell tomorrow.
I won't be getting to Donegal until late, looking at the map from Mallow to the hotel in Burnfoot it's about 5 hours so will be in the region of 22:00 if that is not too late for you?
