Has anyone used this with dsdplus decoding software with good results ?
Is it worth trying?

I have not tried that, but I use openwebrx which decodes all the digital voice modes perfectly on a raspberry pi

Yes I have used it with good results, there's a free version for you to try. Hardest thing is setting up the sound card in and outs, once sorted it works well

I've used it with an RTL-SDR on both Linux and Windows and it works, although it took some doing as the docs and guides are all old. (At least what I was able to find.)
