So I have decided after a couple of years to have a look at D-STAR on my 7100.

Firstly I have downloaded a .csv of the repeater/gateways. I guess I need CS7100 software to upload to the 7100?

Secondly, I seem to remember a few years ago looking at D-STAR and seeing registration for the repeater was necessary. The local repeater here doesn't have any details for registration....am I out of date on this requirement?

Is there a simple, step-by-step DSTAR setup page? There are some great YouTube videos but none help my radio connect to the repeater..
