Set Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and wires X should work without engineering your router.
Sometimes you need to restart everything, more than once I find.
Works here with Virgin hub and at Radio club with BT hub.

Then check Port forwarding under 'security'
System added UPnP will be at the bottom of the list, manually added ones above. If UPnP is enabled and still doesn't work after restarting everything (inc router) you will have to add port forwarding the 'old fashioned way'

HI Peter,

I have tried what you suggested a few times and it does not work !.
I have done this before but where it has 192.168.0.0 do i change the the last digit to what equates to my desk top ?
and then add the ports I want to open Just like in your picture or are there some in there for things other than Wires-X

Regards Frank G4YLJ.
