Post Dstar registration
Last night I registered for Dstar not realising I was being granted access to GB7IC. Is it worthwhile as I live in Hamilton?

Post Re: Dstar registration
Do you mean you were granted access because you registered or that you have previously registered for GB7IC?

When I sorted my registration, I applied to register for the local repeater which registered me on the dstar network at the same time. I can then access any other dstar repeater/link via the repeater or the internet.

If you have a dstar repeater locally and wish to use it , you will need to contact the repeater manager to register access.

A DStar registration is good for any DStar repeater in the UK, not just for your local repeater.

Thanks. That's good to know.
