Post Shark Rf question
Hi can anyone help - when the shark is set up for Fusion and D star via the software - will it auto detect the RF signal coming into it, eg if I have d star and C4FM programmed, then I just pick up which ever handy, dstar or fusion and just connect via rf.

Fusion is easy just make sure the modem and connectors rx tx are set to the same as the radios tx and of course on the allocated frequency for hotspots Lee...sorry no idea on dstar but you can use the fusion radio to do DMR ;) Leave the modem on c4fm and change connector to homebrew and input your DMR id and away you go. Hope this helps and register on the shark forum as everything is covered, the shark is a great gadget have fun.

Hi Lee, no it won't auto-detect the digital mode, however, you can have to 5 'profiles' and each can be a different mode and reflector.

On a DMR radio in the Talkgroup box you just key 9000x where x is the profile number.

On a Dstar radio you would call call “…….x” 7 spaces and the x is new profile number,( replace dots with
spaces)

You can also change modes from a web browser so long as its on the same network, so could use a mobile phone or tablet to change mode , but its a lot easier from the radio.
