Post Suggestion for a homebrew project
Hi just thought I'd let you 'builders' know about an opportunity to home brew some gear for a new digital repeater Television on the Fylde coast,

It operates on 1315MHz tx and 146.5 / 1249MHz rx.

As it's located near the water tower on Warbreck Hill, it covers the Fylde and surrounding areas - see GB3FT on

It's an interesting band / mode to build for and getting going is relatively easy with a satellite rx costing sub £10.

There's a number of ways to tx, using an ADLM Pluto or a Portsdown or even a simple low power analog FM tx.

There's already quite a bit of activity in the North West so why not build something and join us ?

If there's anyone local on the Fylde coast who would like to at least rx, let me as I have a couple of spare rx's I could loan out.

G8GIW licensed in 1972 (C&G RAE), then G4WIM in 1984 (12 wpm CW test), then KT6UK in 2000 (USA Extra Class), now safely back in the UK and retired early (Google bought the company I was working for !)
