Green meter light for the old TR751e.

One on eBay from a foreign seller at a stupid price, any idea on a cheaper source ?

Green diffused (preferably) LED, you can get a choice of various wattages and lux's, and a suitable inline resistor! :)
I would imagine its around 12 volts DC supply to the original lamp?... a 1k resistor is a good enough starting point, but will vary from LED to LED.
You just need to know from its specs the max forward current required.
It will outlast an incandescent bulb.
Looking at that E-Bay listing, that looks suspiciously like an LED anyway to me, rather than an old school bulb, I assume as its rated at 12 volts it incorporates a suitable resistor in its two wire green moulded plastic package.
Either that or its a grain of wheat incandescent bulb, stuck inside a translucent green filter rubber jacket, the original was probably painted with green translucent paint, quite common back in the day.
A simple suitable bright to ultra bright green LED plus resistor will be cheaper than £16 that's for sure. ;)

Cheers Dave yep suppose an led in there would be the way forward and probably outlast the owner !! There is a bulb each side of the display as well as the green bulb for the signal meter which are all working apart from just the one side of the display and be easier just to replace the one and that way they are all the same light output / colour.

Will see if anyone happens to have bought a few spares and fancies parting with one.

The Kenwood part number is : 830-0845-05
