I don't, and neither do you know if THERE was a dummy load. Perhaps the original poster could clarify if he used a dummy load, just to keep you happy he wasn't breaking any rules. |

Jeez.. what a can of worms. I was infact testing it into a 100w dummy load. I don't even own a 2 meter antenna apart from the one on my Baofeng handy. The joblot had some 4m, 2m and 70cms AKD transceivers as well as an FT-290R (which I tested the amp with). I don't have an antenna suitable for any of the above radios so they were all tested with a dummy load. My only operational antenna is a mini g5rv. Thank you for all the helpful answers though, I'll give the relay a squirt of cleaner as suggested and take it from there. Thanks again, Steve |

Well it says in your original post I tried it on 2mts even though your not sure what band it's for now it's a dummy load Anyway chuff it I'm off to bed |
