Re: Help identifying this board
It looks like a single band SSB transceiver, but the photo is very fuzzy

Re: Help identifying this board
By the component layout it looks like it is using 602 mixers, it also looks like the RX could be dual conversion. The frequency of the ladder xtals, and the two single xtals might help.
The silver can at the top left looks like it could be an SBL1, and the toroids on the output filter look like it could be on 20m.
The final suggests it is probably about 5w.
It does not look like an early bitx board, and it is hard to see if it is CW or SSB. though mostly points to being SSB
Is there no writing or numbers on the other side of the board?
It does look like an older and good quality kit though, if I am right in my guesses of components

Re: Help identifying this board
The board is marked 2012 but not much else and it does not appear to have any tuning circuity and might need a second board for this. Its to a decent standard and fancy reviving the project if I can find details.

Possibly using the oscillator section of a 602 (if that is what they are) 2012 would help narrow it down. It looks more like a UK or American project than from the east

Re: Help identifying this board
More I think, it is a PSK31 transceiver, QRP Labs comes to mind, but probably nothing to do with it.

Re: Help identifying this board
Here you go, you can take the search from here https://www.qsl.net/kh6ty/digipan.pdfSmall Wonder Labs, not QRP Labs

Re: Help identifying this board
Made a mistake the board date is 4/16/02 suggesting an American origin.

Re: Help identifying this board
Thats very similar, only the 9 pin D socket suggesting its the same family of projects.

Yes, as the component layout looks identical, I would say it more than suggests it, and positively identifies the manufacturer, and the circuit diagram is in all likelihood the same too The TX/RX circuit and D9 socket has been built onto an area of the board that in empty on the one in the article, so don't think there is any doubt. And the corrected date fits in too

Re: Help identifying this board
They were considered excellent in their day, The Surrey club praised them (may have been SRRC, I only know as many members were using my software WO-PSK and they mentioned it and sent me a copy) and many people said they were as good as any commercial transceiver for PSK31. I went down to the St Albans club in 2003 to give a talk and demonstration of PSK31, and many there were interested in them too. I imagine it would be quite easy to connect it up to a phone with a suitable app (is there one ?) to have a pocketable setup, and I don't see why it could not be made to work on FT8 etc. Have fun
