Can someone homebrew an MFJ5124Y3 lead for me?
Hi All
Seems to be out of stock everywhere, so homebrew seems the only option. Sadly poor eyesight for close up work means it would be a significant challenge for me.
Happy to pay for the work to be completed! Either I can supply components, or cover costs from your junk box.
3.5mm mono jack to 3.5 stereo jack cable. With a 1n4148 diode and 22.1k ohm 1% tolerance resistor in series on the mono plug end. MFJ991 tuner manual (downloadable) shows this on page 9.
Functionality more important than appearance as it'll live behind the radio.
Anybody up for the challenge? Thanks, Ian

Thanks Paul
I'll check the schematics tomorrow just to make sure the stereo plug won't cause an issue.
Drop me an email to Ian at m0kcm dot com and we can sort out the details.
