Post Literal translation?
I received a parcel yesterday, on which the customs declaration said, "Effects holder". Opening it, I found a diecast box I had ordered.
I can only assume that this is a literal translation from 'Box', a place where your effects (Things) are kept...

If you are a muso, into electronics that makes perfect sense!
A die cast box is the very thing your use to hold the guts of your latest homebrew "Effects pedal"! :D

Oh yes! Very good!
I assume this is different from the 'magic smoke' that we should endevour to keep confined at all times.

:D
I have had some wonderfully described items arrive at times, and am constantly amused by some very surreal translated instruction manuals that arrive with various pieces of kit! :)

Many years ago, I received a processor cooling fan that was made in S. Korea. A warning on the box proclaimed "NOT PLUMMET PLEASE!" instead of Do Not Drop.
