DESCRIPTION A second Chirp n Drift activity is scheduled for Monday 6th May, a UK Bank Holiday. Monday 6th May then, dust off the chirpy gear and spread the word for another exciting and interesting event. I hope to work a few more 1154s and elusive Parasets this time, but homebrew gear is also most welcome!! All welcome..it's not just for FISTS members.

DATES and TIMES (UTC) Monday 6th May 18:00 - 00:00Z (BST: 6th May 19:00 - 7th May 01:00)

Dave plugging away with a T1154/R1155 combo.
Next time, I'll dig out my old homebru 80m rig, then you'll hear some chirp. :)

Well, you're very loud on the Enschede SDR, so it's not as though they can't hear you.

Thanks Chris

Maybe they're working... It's not a bank holiday there I guess. Never mind, I had me fun.

Hearing you; The Germans are probably in their Air Raid Shelters - just in case.

I stumbled across the event by accident. I really must read the memos.

Worked KVL and YVM. A great evening, even though I wasn't drifting or chirping.

I wonder how long it'll be before someone programs a DDS with random drift & chirp for that authentic olde-worlde effect on a modern SDR.

Talking about drift, was anyone on with a 9700?

Meow.

Often wondered that.
Why can't we select more 'distinctive' beeps, like T5 mains ripple, MCW, two-tone etc.
T9 all sounds 'samey'.
