Belated update.

13cm was good fun with my 500mW crossing the 200km barrier a few times.
Good to work G8SFI/P, at 181km.
It makes 6M more difficult, now the times have been pulled back into line.

6M was busy, with some ES, and lots of locals.
Takng part in 13cm reduced the available time but still gave me 67 contacts.
ODX was 1879km, to OH2J, inn KP20mj.
8 countries but just 12 scoring UK locators.

Thanks to G7LRQ for the contact in the last few seconds. :)

Cheers

Tony

First time on 50MHz for me. A thrown together bamboo dipole on top of Combe Gibbet in IO91GI (should of been Walbury Hill but I forgot the map  ) pushed my mighty 10W out 232km to M0GAV in IO93GK. :yahoo:

Just looking at line of sight I was hoping for that far north so I'm very pleased.

Six QSOs all told, with great patience for my quite weak signal. Great fun too. Heard much more than I could work though.

The lack of map issue and home command issues made for a late start and I didn't try for the closer contacts (although having driven an hour my first QSO was around two miles from the home QTH), but next time I'll try and make more and also look out to the west. Provided the weather is good enough for /P again.

Jon

Your welcome Tony!

You and Gi4SNA for 2 multipliers in the last minute. :)

Conditions really poor from here with lots of high noise in most direction.

Regards Anthony G7LRQ
