Sat there quietly, after a few pints, picked a frequency in the MS section when - SPLAT!
I'm sure my ears will recover.
Seconds later my TX came on with CQ so that might have made someone jump?

No problem.
Mistakes get made. Hopefully I was civil?
I respectfully point my learned friends to. - http://www.rsgb.org/committees/spectrumforum/docs/rsgb_band_plan_2012.htm
:D

Hope you got things sorted.

You were pretty weak Ricky. Vertically polarised I assume?

Just to top it all, someone was messing around on 144.300 with a carrier as well.

Cheers

Tony

6ft 2 is quite a lot of vertical polarisation unless he is on his back then it'd be quite substantial horizontally!

I've heard of big frontal lobes being beneficial so maybe.
Maybe I'm confused.

Well done for realising and acknowledging your mistake when it was pointed out and taking corrective action, a few would just try and bluff there way out or just be plain abusive about the bandplans and what the license details say.
Forgot to say we cant be right all the time that's what makes us human
