Post 23cm SWR Meter
Trying to dip my toe in to 23cm operating. Can anyone recommend a good commercial SWR meter for the band, that isn't too expensive. I'm also on the look-out for a Bird Thruline slug that covers the band.

To be honest, I've only ever used a Bird.

Cheers

Post Re: 23cm SWR Meter
Avair did a half reasonable one from their quoted specs.
I am sure it was the AV1000, covered 1.8 to 160 MHz, and 430 to 1300 MHz from memory.
Not sure if still a current model, but I have seen quite a few used ones pop up for sale on various platforms.
Nice big meter, clear easily readable scale etc., and looks reasonably made, but I have never owned one, so can't vouch for accuracy etc.
Had a quick trawl and:
Nevada, and I am sure others, still advertise them new at £89, so I guess still current, at least while stocks last etc.

Been there and got the T shirt, sadly like the T shirt the memory of it has long since faded, gone rather tatty, and finally been consigned to the bin!

I have a couple of them, and they are as OK as any SWR meter, and seems the price has come down
