Not going to buy it, I need it to turn the PC and rig on, and off again later, then on again all at times I set.
I don't think much of the features if it cant even do that.

That's a step too far for me, but I did leave the radio monitoring 6m FT8 most of last summer, pointing east until mid-day and then west. It was fascinating to see some of the short multi-hop openings, which mostly occurred when I was out of the shack: Taiwan and Thailand were 2 of the countries I'd never copied before on the band. Years ago I would have spent hours listening to white noise in the hope of catching an opening like that.

Hopefully it's a wind-up Daz, it's a mode I tolerate as unfortunately IMHO there's just not enough activity on CW & SSB anymore.

I think maybe it's a legit advert tho as I do remember working a SV5 last year who had written the code to do it just to prove it could be done.

Like you I'd rather sit listening to white noise, trouble is you can devote too much time to it hi

His advert was removed, back again https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DIGITAL-QSO- ... 3437687341 and he is going to claim from ebay :rotfl:

If he is putting your call sign into the code, I assume he is storing your call and details, wonder if his storage complies with the EU data laws? :)

I think by having a QSO you would be giving permission for that QSO data to be stored, and would not normally include you address, phone number and email.

Anyway, app permissions make a mockery of much of the GDPR.
It's a minefield that is rarely mentioned.
