Re: ICOM IC 705
Yes, I do just that with mine. The Duplexer I use is a Comet cf-360 but any will do. Just make sure it has the right frequency splits for what you need.

Re: ICOM IC 705
Hi Dave
What antenna's do you want to connect?
The Diamond MX72 will give you 1.6 to 150 MHz on one port and 400 to 460 on the other. So if one antenna you use covers top band to 2 meters and you have a separate antenna for 70cm then it will work for you.
If you want to connect a 2 and 70 collinear to one port it won't work for you.

Re: ICOM IC 705
YOU NEED SOME thing like the Comet CF 530 which covers 1.3 to 90 and 125 to 470
Or the Comet CF-706 that is 1.3 to 57 and 75 to 550

Sorry to hear about the eyesight, how ever with respect, using caps doesn't make the replies any easier to read, which are the part you want to read, but does make it hard for the people you want to read it. As Evan suggested ctrl + will enlarge everything on the browser, and there are other settings that will enlarge all text on a PC or phone. Maybe worth a look to make your computer use easier all round if you don't already use them.

73 Keith . That has N type connectors, that is what the N shows If it shows two rigs and one antenna, it will work with one rig and two antennas (as long as the frequencies match) Why would it not work on the 705 if the frequencies are correct?
