 Sirio 11/10m Yagis
Hi All
Looking for some info, I have a 4el up for 10m during the recent storm the reflector has worked loose, the cast Ali bracket that holds the elements to the boom is now loose and can spin around and move up towards the driven element,
Anyone know how they are held on the boom, I've not taken it down yet but it doesn't look obvious from the manual,
Thanks Trevor EI2GLB

 Re: Sirio 11/10m Yagis
Been may years since I have owned one Trevor but I think its a grub screw through the bracket, a bigger one than the ones that hold the elements in place.

Thanks I'll have a look when I get the tower over,
Has to be something simple I'm missing,
Thanks Trevor EI2GLB

 Re: Sirio 11/10m Yagis
When I had one there were two allen key grub screws either side (6mm or 7mm I think) in the hole were the element goes slots in.
So you need to take the elements out and put the Allen Key down the hole. If you are using normal Allen Keys you will need to use the long end and turn the short end with a pair of pliers (or similar). A long reach out of a spline/screwdriver set you may find easier.

Thanks Guys the element actually fell off it eventually so I can see the little grub screws,
Just need to tilt the tower over now and put it back,
