Hi how good is the antenna G7FEK multiband antenna?
How many people use the G7FEK antenna and what bands they were most successful on?

Best thing to do is build it and try it.
I will probably give it a go since you have mentioned it.
Can't be any worse than a trapped dipole.

Depends what you want it for, its an inverted L on 80 and almost a vertical on 40 so works well for low angle dx better than a low dipole on those bands, but you need a good radial field as with any vertical

I built one a few years ago, still have it in a box somewhere.
I could not erect it entirely in the intended fashion, and it did not work as well as an end fed inverted L on the bands it was meant to be used on.

Just read this and think i'll give it a go--Ticks the boxes--Easy to make, seems to perform well and at a smaller size than a 1/2 size G5RV ideal for small spaces or even portable use
