yep, Create came to the rescue.

seems it's an old version, and over 40 years old!

anyway, I have the destructions now, just need a break in the weather.

I wouldn't worry about the age of the antenna. A lot of the stuff made in the 70's and 80's was constructed from far better quality materials than some of the garbage churned out these days, and will still be around in another 40 years.

Good to hear that Create were able to help you out.

no issues with the quality of the antenna, it looks pretty bomb-proof!

IF I had a concern, it would be with the design parameters from the 80's being a bit out-of-date, but since it's going in place of a probably equally-as-old Cushcraft A506s, I expect an improvement anyway!

it did come to light that the usual taper in the element lengths isn't present in this design, which seems a bit odd, but I'll go with it as is.
