Mounting a uhf colinear at ground level isnt the best thing to do.

I would be more worried about getting it well above ground level than putting ground radials on it.

It isn't being mounted at ground level its 50ft agl... it has 3 small ground radials on it.

Ok, I think there is some confusing definitions

A colinear has no radials by definition. ( colinear meaning three points in a straight line )

Adding radials it becomes a vertical ground plane antenna.

If the antenna has been designed and tuned as a colinear then adding radials would alter the tuning and radiation pattern. And most likely the SWR.

If this antenna is one of the many supplied inside a fibreglass tube it may well be a stacked dipole inside.

You could try adding a few 1/4 wave radials and see what happens.

Just seen your bit about the three radials....

So you could try removing them and seeing what happens.
They could well be there as added capacitance to tune the antenna or just as marketing.
