Hi Stewart,
Radioworld are saying they have the 70cm one in stock. I would ring first just to make sure.

Thanks Brian, but at that price I think I'll pass.

Hi Tony,
I tried to order the 2M version online from Wimo, but they're not dispatching to the UK at the mo.

The DX Shop do some Wimo stuff.
Might be worth a try.

I received an email from Wimo yesterday stating that they will send to me, so I ordered the 2 Metre version.
Thanks for all the info. Guys.

The antenna arrived yesterday, and is now up at 40 ft.

I love a good ending.

Well the 2 Metre Big Wheel has been up for a week now, and I'm well impressed with its performance. I ran 400W of FT8 through it briefly, and it was rock-steady. The SWR didn't change, and no complaints from the linear amp. Observing the antenna at dark O'clock through binoculars there were no blue sparks or corona observed.
The next job is to run a single length of LDF-450 instead of the 3 lengths of various coax, that I cobbled together, then all being well insert the SSB products pre-amp. close to the antenna to see if it's of any benefit.
