G0KSC owns InnovAntennas, so it's the same antenna type,

Thanks guys. It doesn't seem as simple as all that. I have dropped Justin a line but he is out of the country at the moment.
Tomorrow I will post the items I have. I have managed to make 2 loops which is what I need but I have 8 pieces of spare tubing 4 at one size 4 another size. The Hose Clamps are all the same size for a connection of 13mm tubing to 10mm tubing. But I have damaged them and the 10mm tubing is so loose, so will have to find a better way to make the connections.
Thanks

Cheap worm screw hose clamps will strip before the tubing is nicely tight.
Make sure the split goes at least an inch down the 1/2 inch tubing, and hit it with a hammer first, just enough the the smaller tubing has to be pushed in. (hit it on the slots, not on the sides that have no slots)
Rather use the solid stainless clamps that have a machine screw and nut to tighten them, and fit them so that the screw is at 90deg to the slots.
I have used that method on my 4&6m dual band beams for 7 years now and not had a problem. I agree the tubes are not the perfect fit. (I don't have any of his antennas, mine are home designed and built, but it looks like it is using standard size tubes, not the hard to get made to fit ones)

The way you have made up the loops, do they both come out the correct size?

Thanks for the info. I think I have it now Justin (the builder) sent me a better picture which shows a different image. This takes care of the extra pieces I thought I had. So having another try at building it tomorrow

Post Re: Help with InnovAntennas 2-element 70 MHz LFA-Q Yagi
Just a note to say firstly a massive thanks to all who aired their experiences and help. THANK YOU ALL.

I have finally managed to build it with many emails between myself and Justin at innovantennas.com. Justin was so helpful and persevered with me. So THANKS JUSTIN. I have to wait for my antenna guy to come fit it on the roof (Unfortunately not on a rotator) so I can't take a picture. However he sent me a photo from a customer from last week. I will try post it here so you can see what it looks like and it can be seen from an earlier photo that there is a big difference.

So thanks again guys.

Good news! :good:
My only word of advice, as 70 Mhz is not exactly knee deep in participants, nor awash with point at local repeaters and the like, which direction were you considering it being erected fixed and pointed at?
A cheap lightweight rotator, would not go amiss, and it isn't as an antenna that is going to need much more, but being both directional and rotatable, might prove long term more contacts beneficial! ;)

Thanks guys, yes it was a bit of a surprise the size of it. Wifes using it as a washing line at the moment. Its in the kitchen. Can't have a rotator unfortunately although it may go on the roof which runs North South. I only bought it because I sold my FTDX3000 to buy the IC-7300 which had the 4m in it as standard. The write up was great, But I have till Saturday to decide if I want to keep it or get something much smaller.
