What about the existing Bolton radio club?

I'm sure I saw their stand at a recent rally.

I have a few questions then.

Why have you setup a new club in Bolton? Why 2 radio clubs?
Have you fallen out with the existing club? were you a member and am not now?

What has the reaction from the existing Bolton wireless club been? After all surely you advised them that your setting up a competing club in the area?

Have you a website?
Have you got trainers for all the exams that you can teach?
How many members do you currently have?

Now don't get me wrong Simon - I'm not against a club - especially one that has a bar ;) but it does seem rather odd that you felt the need for a 2nd club in Bolton - especially one that's only 3 miles away from the existing club that's still going strong.
So I'd like to know whats going on before I commit to coming down the road.

BTW - you have not even told us it's name.

I don't think 2 clubs in such a small radius is healthy or beneficial...this seems more about control than content.
Trying to offer what the other club offers already is almost like trying to rock the boat and cause division, it's akin to holding another Manchester rally ...will that be happening also ?

The reason for that seems to be one has meetings on a Tuesday, the other has members that take part in the UKACs.

Cheers
