i had the same problem my bt hub was cutting out every time i would tx from the radio i tried ferrites and grounding etc still no good so as i did not have this problem a couple of years ago and are just back on the air i contacted bt online they said there was a fault and an engineer would come out well after testing we were only getting 8mb so he put a new box master socket 5c on now we are getting 16mb and no more tx from the radio cutting the broadband off :D

I am also facing the same issue, even with transmitting just 5 watts on FT8. I am running a half wave 40m end fed wire with the matching unit at the feed point on the top of the mast plus a 1:1 choke at the transceiver end.

My modem is in a network rack which is made of metal with a glass door so I would expect it to be fairly well shielded. The cabling from the BT faceplate is shielded cat6a (I work in IT networks, hence the overkill for home use!).

I have constructed a "whole shack mains filter" courtesy of GM3SEK.

I then grounded my transceiver with 3x copper earth rods spaces 4ft apart.

Finally, I added a ferrite core between the faceplate and the modem, albeit the cheap red iron powder one (perhaps this is of little to no use.

I have ordered FT240-31 and FT240-43 cores to try each of those, if neither work I am at a bit of a loss, grateful for any further tips.
