Re: RFI Into G Fast Router Causing Drop Out?
I am also facing the same issue, even with transmitting just 5 watts on FT8. I am running a half wave 40m end fed wire with the matching unit at the feed point on the top of the mast plus a 1:1 choke at the transceiver end.
My modem is in a network rack which is made of metal with a glass door so I would expect it to be fairly well shielded. The cabling from the BT faceplate is shielded cat6a (I work in IT networks, hence the overkill for home use!).
I have constructed a "whole shack mains filter" courtesy of GM3SEK.

I have also made a notch filter as per the below link:

I then grounded my transceiver with 3x copper earth rods spaces 4ft apart.
Finally, I added a ferrite core between the faceplate and the modem, albeit the cheap red iron powder one (perhaps this is of little to no use.
I have ordered FT240-31 and FT240-43 cores to try each of those, if neither work I am at a bit of a loss, grateful for any further tips.
Thanks
