I have an RSP1A that I want to use on my FTDX-5000MP as a panadapter utilising the 9Mz IF output. I want to diasable the Bias-T so it doesn't damage the radio. I know it can be done by the SDRUNO software, but I would rather do it permanently to avoid any accidents.
Does anyone know what component to remove ?
Regards
Steve (G6TJC)

Re: Bias-T on RSP1A ?
Hi Steve, The FT5000 already has a 0.01uF blocking capacitor in series with the IF o/p so no need for any mods. 73 & H.N.Y Graham

Thanks Graham, that is great to know if you are using the IF Out. I am using the RX out with mine and Console V3...and BIAS-T is a danger word for me !
