The 380 is FM also, and will receive any FM channel within it's frequency range. You really need to learn how to program a code plug then you can put in any frequency that you want to. My code plug has many "interesting" UHF frequencies, but I live near Inverness so it's no use to you.

I was wondering about FM as none of the advertised specs mention FM, I just assumed it wasn't dual mode?

I was looking at getting one from Nevada, but say this on ebay, https://goo.gl/qczDKZ it's a little bit cheaper and has a bigger capacity battery, is it worth the risk of getting something that doesn't work?

I ordered a GD-77 a week ago so should come any day now from China
Cost £86 with free postage, and come with a ext microphone off ebay
Writing a codeplug for the northwest uk and may continue to write a full codeplug for all the uk repeaters
These are dual band so ideal for 2m simplex and the few 2m DMR repeaters
Same size as a tyt md380 and dual band, probably see a few uhf dmr radios up for sale soon due to the new dual band radios
The baofang dmr radio is only tier 1 (simplex) so no good for repeaters, you need tier 2 for repeaters
