More pictures, complete now.
Just a couple of minutes to take it all apart, so easy for trying things out on.

Battling a bit with the BFO calibration, bot much on the air to set it on. Try again later.
Main frequency is spot on.

But just worked EA7 and 9A on 2W :)

I got it on ebay about 4 years ago, bought 3 at the time. The seller ID had a mrs in it, that is all I can remember.

It is plastic.

The final one will be in a metal case.

I've just received one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/9-8-x-7-5-x- ... 2749.l2649 I ordered a couple of weeks ago.

Very nice for the price.

I don't like the white and blue, but a couple of tins of spray paint will change that :)

I went into the loft this afternoon to look through the boxes of Yaesu spares to get some panel lamps for the FL 7000, and saw I had some meter assemblies for the 757, still in their packets.

Brought one down and connected to the bridge, and it is perfect, gives full scale with 10W, so room for calibration.
(picture hows it adjusted)

With the aid of a hacksaw, it will make a nice meter for the μBITX

Things have moved faster than I expected.

Just made a PCB for the AGC, will build that up tomorrow morning.
After trials testing decided I did not need a very wide range AGC

Built a PIC based sequencer to control the TX>RX RX>TX changeover

I have had to give up my hope of having a front facing speaker, however as I will be using a more powerful audio amp, top mounting should be fine.

Just not going to be enough space without it being cramped.

Have to settle on the front panel design, as I want to get it printed on aluminium in the letter part of May.
